PIPE BAND.

INGLESIDE EVENING

The Feilding Pipe Band’s ingleside evening in the Parish Hall proved very popular, visitors being present from all parts of the district. Music for the dances was provided by a local orchestra, while Air A. Feeney contributed extras. The Alonte Carlo dance was won bv Atiss King (AVellington) and Air Williams, and the lucky spot waltz by Aliss Davies and Mr Trotter. During an interval in the proceedings Scot-

tish songs were sung by Airs Cameron (Buiiiiythorpe). Air AVemyss carried out the duties of M.C., while the supper arrangements were in charge of Air and Airs Finlayson and helpers. Mr Fraser, president of the band, thanked patrons for their enthusiastic support and commended Pipe-Sergeant Butler for his asistance in providing dance music.
