BUNNYTHORPE.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) BUNNYTHORPE, Nov. 4.
A number of local residents were successful in the awards at the Manawatu Spring Show, among them being Mrs Heggie, Mrs Cameron and Master Chcetham. Visitors to the Show who were staying in Bunnvthorpc were Mr C. Lassen, Mrs Skousgaard of Hastings, and Mr Douglas Lassen (Taranaki), sons and daughter of Mrs L. Lassen. The Garrison Band queen committee and their queen candidate (Miss Oakley) arc holding a dance in the Public Hall during tho week. A friendly game of cricket played on the Recreation Ground on Saturday afternoon between the Bunnythorpe Club and The Rest and resulted in a win for tho club by 73 runs. Scores are:—Bunnythorpe: A.
