Members of the Bulls Defence Rifle Club held a practice on the open range on Saturday afternoon. The weather was fine. Scores for 10 .shots at 300 and 500, and 7 shots at 600yds, were as follow; J. B. Robins, 44—48—32—124; D. Lundy, 41—48—32—121; N. Amon, 46—43—32—121; K. W. Dairy m pie, 45—46—30—121; B. Thorby, 46—48—94; L. Huddleston, 46—47 —-93; Stevenson, 43. The following games have been played in the Bulls Tennis Club’s competitions: - Progressive tournament: C. V. Green ancl Mias I. Walker 36, lost to L. Homes and Miss Min Kearney 50. C. \ • Green and Miss I. Walker 40, lost to R. Mansell and Mrs Green 50; P. Ralfe and Miss Price 39, lost to G. Fitches and Mrs Bland 50; R. Mansell and Mrs Green 48, lost to Hendry and Miss Haycock 50; L. Homes and Miss Min. Kearney 56, defeated Hendry and Miss Haycock 54; L. Homes and Miss Min. Kearney 50, defeated C. W. Farrer and Miss Edo 44; G. Montgomerie and Miss Ralfe 42, lost to C. W. Farrer and Miss Ede 50. Ladder matches; Fitches beat Johnstone, 10 —8; Miss F. Haycock beat Miss Ede, 7 —3.
