(From Our Own Correspondent.) UMUTOI, Nov. 2.
Mrs Robertson, of Uniutoi North, Jins returned heme after spending a holiday in Otaki. The friends of Mr and Mrs A. Bell will be pleased to learn that their son Trevor, who is at present an inmate of the Palmerston North Hospital, is progressing favourably. A “working bee’’ was busy at the school early in the week when the members removed the old picket fence and replaced it with a netting one which has given the school a much neater appearance. 'the kowhai I roes in the school grounds arc at present in full bloom and arc making a splendid show.
