(United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (British Official Wireless.) Received November 3, 11.55 a.m. RUGBY, Nov. 2.
The attitude of the Conservatives towards the findings of the Joint Select Committee on Indian Constitutional Reform will be determined at a meeting in London on December 4, when Mr Stanley Baldwin will consult the Conservative Central Council. There is a shaip diversity of opinion among the Conservatives regarding the proposals contained in the White Paper which is the basis of the joint committee’s investigations, and the recent party conference by a narrow majority postponed the debate on the question pending publication of the report. It is expected that about. 2000 leading members of the party, including members of both Houses of Parliament, will attend the meeting.
