The Prince of Wales has been elected Grand Master of the Freemasons’ Grand Lodge of Scotland for 1936, Scotland’s bi-centenary. Rev. D. B. Malcolm, after ten and a half years’ service in the Gonville parochial district, has accepted the offer of the parish of St. Mary’s, Hawera..
Rev. J. Hubbard, of St. Andrew’s Church, and Rev. J. S. Pate, of St. David’s Church, will be attending the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church at Dunedin next week.
Rev. Alexander Don, a veteran missionary of the Presbyterian Church, died yesterday in the Otago Central train when returning to Dunedin. He was aged 77.—Press Association. 1
