TAIKOREA

(From Our Own Correspondent.) TAIKOREA, Nov. 17

Owing to wet week-ends, the Saturday ladder matches which wore to have been played a fortnight ago have been postponed. Weather permitting these will be played on Saturday, ladies’ games at Air Richmond’s court, and men’s at Mr Ward’s. This court was not opened earlier in the season ns re-turfing was being carried out. It should now be in good play-

ing order. Mrs I-Cersall, of Palmerston North, has been visiting Airs W. Prior. The sympathy of a very large number of friends is extended to Airs Prior whose brother passed away recently after a long and painful illness nobly borne.
