The butter market is firm and there is a good inquiry. The cheese market is also firm. The following are the ruling prices, the last cabled quotations being given in parentheses:— Danish, 125 s (120 s). Choicest salted, New Zealand, 73s (60s to 71s): Australian, 72s (68s to 70s). Unsalted, New Zealand, 74s to 78s (74s to 765) ; Australian, 72s (68s to 70s). Cheese.—New Zealand, white, 53s 6d (525) j coloured, 54s (50s).
