RADIO SET DISCARDED. Received November 2, 12.35 p.m. HONOLULU, Nov. 1. After further tests with the receiving set, Sir Charles Kingsford Smith discarded it to-day as too noisy for the wave-hand assigned to ships at sea. The flier is remaining at Wheeler Field until the take-off.
