THE FUTURE COURSE. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (British Official Wireless.) Received November 2, 12.50 p.m. RUGBY, Nov. 1. The President of the Disarmament Conference (Mr Arthur Henderson) has been studying with the SecretaryGeneral of the League (M. Avenol), who is at present in London, the future course of the Disarmament Conference. M. Avenol has been in touch with the vice-president of the Conference (M. Politis). representatives of the French Government, and certain other Powers, and was able to lay his information before the President to-day. Mr Henderson met in informal consultation Sir John Simon and Mr R. A. Eden later. Taking advantage of their presence in London, he also met Mr Norman Davis and Mr Hugh Wilson, representatives of the United States. Mr Henderson intends in a few days to make a communication to the members of the Bureau of the Conference, containing a suggestion regarding th future course of its proceedings.
