PREVENTION OF SUPPLY OF ARMS.

(British Official Wireless.) Received November 1, 1.5 p'm. T RUGBY, Oct. 31. In answer to a question in xhe House of Commons, Sir John Simon, (loreign Secretary), said the international agreement to prevent the supPy. of arms to Bolivia and Paraguay which had been initiated and pressed , y n's Majesty’s Government had at last been put into operation. All the arms-manufacturing countries Lad been approached by the League of Nations committee who had previously announced their acceptance of the measure before the end of September, without any reservations as regards the execution of current contracts.
