POWER SUPPLY INTERRUPTED.
WIRE NETTING ON LINE. Per Press Association. GISBORNE, Nov. 1. Gisborne’s power supply was interrupted for a quarter of an hour last night as the result of interference with the main high-tension lines connecting the power-house with the Waikaremoana supply. The cause of the occurrence was a piece of wire netting, it having been thrown across the line.
