KING ALEXANDER’S DEATH. It is now revealed that the late King Alexander was aware of the plot for his assassination, and told Prince George about it when the latter was visiting Yugoslavia; states Mr Ward Price, special correspondent of the Daily Mail, in a message from Belgrade. _ On his return to England, Prince George informed the Police Commissioner, Lord Trencliard, of the dariger threatening King Alexander during his visit to France. Scotland Yard is reported to have offered 10 detectives to help .watch terrorists in France, but the offer was declined. It is also reported that King Alexander wore a bullet-proof' vest during his visit to Sofia, but discarded it at Marseilles, because it would have been visible under his naval frock-coat.
