EVIDENCE CONTINUED. Per Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 31. Tlie inquiry into tlie origin of a fire at the warehouse of Davidson and Co., Ltd., 166 Lichfield Street, on Juno 8, was continued to-day. The whole sitting was occupied with hearing the evidence of Leslie Harold Fee, an _ accountant, who, instructed by the insurance adjuster, made an inspection _of the hooks of the company. Witness said that from the books it appeared that the stock in hand the day before the fire was £2034. Witness gave evidence of certain incompleteness in the books and spoke,of certain invoices which had ben altered and others which were missing altogether. The inquiry was adjourned till tomorrow.
