CAPSIZE OVER BANK

ACCIDENT AT BANGiOTU. Injuries to the face and hands, including a gash on the forehead, were suffered by Mr Patrick Gallagher, of Boundary Bead, Palmerston North, in an accident which occurred on the main road at Rangiotu at about 2.15 p.m. yesterday. Mr Gallagher was driving a truck from Wellington to Palmerston North, and the wheels are believed to have locked as he was negotiating the road near the Post Office at Rangiotu. The vehicle capsized over a bank into a creek 12 or 15 feet below. The driver who was rendered unconscious for a period, was the Palmerston North Hospital by the Free Ambulance after receiving attention.
