INVASION OF AUSTRALIA.

HERR BANSE’S NEW BOOK. Herr Ewald Banse, in a book, “What Germans Must Know About Foreign Countries,” expresses the opinion that India and Australia are equally ripe for invasion. He says: “The army of Australia is inadequate to resist invasion.” There is little sympathy for the Motherland, and so here, too, political cutting adrift is possible.

Following the publcation of a jingoistic book, “Germany Prepare for

War,” Herr Banse was dismissed from his post at the Technical High School, Brunswick, and forbidden to use th» title of professor.
