GIFT OF PANEL TO PERTH GALLERY. A terra-cotta panel, “The Prodigal Son,” a fine example of the work of the English sculptor, the late George Tinworth, has been presented to the Perth Art Gallery. The panel is valued at 150 guineas. It' has been presented, through the interest in the Gallery of Mr John Shorter, of Sydney, as a gift to the people of the State from Mr L. J. E. Hooper, of London. Tinworth was for many years employed at Mr Hooper s pottery works. , Arrangements are being made tor the conveyance of the panel from England.
