PRESS CONFERENCE

DELEGATES FROM DOMINION. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Oct. 30. The fifth Imperial Press Conference of the Empire Press Union is to be held in South Africa in February and March next year. The New Zealand delegation will comprise Mr F. A. Clarke (managing-editor of the Christchurch Times and Star), Mr T. M. Geddes (managing-director of the Napier Daily Telegraph) and Mr F. G. Kerr, junr. (part-proprietor of the Timaru Herald). They will leave New Zealand in December, joining the Ascanius, together with the Australian delegation, at Sydney on December 29 for Capetown. This will mark the first occasion on which an official visit has been paid to South Africa by the Empire Press Union. The conference will open in Capetown on February 4.
