BULLS.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) BULLS, Oct. 30. Mr Fred Wilson, who lias been staying with Mr Y. Barnes, returned to Wellington on Monday. “The Old War Horse,” a mare which carried Colonel C. G. Powles through the Great War, died at Flock House this week, aged 24 years. The recent Bulls School ball will result in a net profit of between £25 and £3O, and the committee has been able to wipe out the bank overdraft, some £BO being paid off in the past three years. Mr J. Currie’s concert party’s offer to put on a concert here for school funds was accepted. Votes of thanks were passed at the recent meeting to Messrs Stevens Bros, (for gifts of shrubs), Boniface Bros, (cake) and R. J. Gray (turkey). The visiting committee this month will consist of Messrs F. Ralfe and H. Holland. Averages of members of the Bulls Miniature Rifle Club for the past season are as follow: —T.
