MARTON, Oct. 29

At a. general meeting of the junior Marton branch of the W.D.F.U. Miss Violet MacMillan gave a lecture on “Success,” the various ways by which we may achieve success in our own sphere of life. Rev. Gordon McKenzie, 8.A., of laihape, was a visitor to Marton, addressing members of Toe H. Rangitikei. Mr J. B. Rowe, of Mangaonoho, had the misfortune to break his leg when the horse he was riding rolled over a bank.
