WRESTLING AT SHOWGROUNDS.
TO-AIORROAV NIGHT.
The Stadium at the Showgrounds has proved popular with Show visitors and townsfolk, and as wrestling is a popular sport for men, the amusements committee has arranged for a monster wrestling tournament to be held to-morrow night commencing at; 7.30. Eight bouts selected from the best wrestlers for miles around will bo contested including one in which a Hawke’s Bay champion will come to grips with Rossiter, that, clover and entertaining boy from Shannon. The Daimevirkc man is as popular in his own province as Rossiter is in this, and is known to have a voracious appetite for tough wrestling, so with such a pair in the ring this bout alone should bo worth the price for admission. Newth and Ross, who put up such a vigorous match at the last professional tourney, will again be matched, while Anthony, Clark, Eckcrslcy, Evans, McConachy, Edgar, A-larc Hoke, Young and Ward, in fact all the best boys, will bo matched against visitors from all over the North Island.
