PLANNED FOR TIMARU.

TIMARU, Oct. 29. At a meeting held in Timaru, at which representatives of the New Zealand Pipe Bands’ Association were present, it was decided to held a Dominion pipe band contest at Timaru in February, provided sufficient public support is forthcoming. It is stated that a guarantee of 12 bands is already in sight.
