WOMAN’S GOOD PERFORMANCE. ' Per Press Association. HAMILTON, Oct. 27. The ladies’ cycling record from Auckland to Hamilton, a distance of 83 miles, 5 hours 38 minutes, established by Miss Violet Baird in 1933, was easily shattered, to-day by Mrs E. Harrison, of Auckland, who covered the distance in 4 hours 22 minutes. Mrs Harrison is 28 years old and has a family of five children. She learnt to ride a bicycle only nine months ago and will make an attempt on "the AucklandWellington record on November 24.
