RETURNED SOLDIERS.
PRESIDENT CONGRATULATED. At a meeting of the executive of the Palmerston North Returned Soldiers’ Association, the opportunity was taken by Mr J. W. Rutherfurd to congratulate Mr B. J. In acknowledging the tribute, Mr Jacobs stated that he sincerely hoped that some good to the ex-scrvicemen would materialise from the exchange of world ideas.
Mr Jacobs, who leaves Palmerston North this evening for Melbourne, was to-dav wished bon voyage by the Rotary Club, the hope being expressed that he would have a very enjoyable stay in Australia.
