SPRING SHOW.
preparations in hand. IMPROVEMENTS TO FACILITIES. Preparations for the Manawatu and "West Coast A. and P. Association’s Spring Show, which opens at Palmerston North on Wednesday next, are now well advanced, and arrangements have been made for many new features at the fixture. Recently the office buildings were repainted, and general renovations have Deen carried out to the stock pavilions, which are in firstclass order. Benching and stalls are now' being erected. An attractive improvement has been made in the entertainment hall by enclosing the tearooms in neat trellis-work, which it is hoped to decorate with lycopodium and flow'ers. A great surprise aw'aits patrons when they visit the Motor Olympia, which has been organised by the Manawatu Motor Traders’ Association. Occupying practically the whole of one of the largest halls, it covers thousands of square feet of space, and undoubtedly will furnish one of the finest displays of cars ever seen at a show in the Dominion. Finished completely in Royal blue, it is an entirely enclosed area, with an imposing entrance. It lias a splendid appearance, is very artistically designed, and with its railed off stands, all uniform in appearance, gives a remarkably effective background for a display w'hich is expected to be quite a revelation. Space in the exhibition has been taken up very readily, and many attractions are scheduled for the amusement area. Entries now number 4815, having passed the 1932 Royal Show total.
