BOWLING.

PALMERSTON NORTH CLUB

At a meeting of the committee of the Palmerston North Bowling Club last evening, a report was submitted in connection with the pennant games, the first round of which will commence on November 3. It was decided not to enter rinks for trophy competitions until March next. The club holds the Manson and Barr Cup and challenges for this trophy will be received in the usual manner. The new seating accommodation on the green was favourably commented on, and a vote of thanks was passed to the president (Mr, W. Croucher) for a substantial donation and to others who had rendered assistance.
