PRAISE FOR REPORT. Per Pi ess Assoication. WELLINGTON, Oct. 25. That the report of the Companies Commission indicated a very thorough examination of the problems that had needed investigation for some time was the opinion expressed by Mr E. Bucholz, chairman of the Wellington Stock Exchange ami president ot the Stock Exchange Association of New Zealand. He thought it was a timely and extremely valuable summing-up of the conditions relating to company promotion and kindred matters. Methods of company promotion had long needed close examination and, as far as any further work by the Commission was concerned, the Stock Exchange would he ready to give every co-operation and assistance in the direction of further safeguarding the investing public, Mr Bucholz said.
