OBITUARY.

MR SAMUEL SAMyEL, M.P. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Oct. 24. The death has occurred of Mr. Samuel Samuel, aged 79, Conservative M.P., for Putney. With his brother Lord Bearsted, he founded the Shell Transport Company, and was believed to be one of the richest men in Britain.

Mr Samuel, who was unmarried, was a director of the Shell Transport and Trading Company, Anglo-Saxon Petroleum Company, and Lloyds Bank.
