BOULDERS ON THE STREETS.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —Like your correspondent, “A Clear Highway.” I am interested to know who would be liable if an accident occurred through these dangerous boulder obstructions being placed on our streets. Not very long ago, Iwi nessed two boys on their bicycles, apparently sky-larking, when one was tossed off his bicycle, falling helplessly on his back, his head missing on ® ° these boulders by inches. If the abo\o accident had had fatal results, w I want to know is, who would pay damages—the person placing boulder obstruction on the street, the City Council who must have g their consent?—l am, etc., jj
