MANUFACTURE IN DOMINION

Per Press Association. WELLINGTON. Oct. 25. With the object of investigating the possibilities of establishing the motortyre manufacturing industry in New Zealand, an overseas tyre manufacturing company has instructed a firm of Wellington engineers to go into the question of a suitable site for a- factory. The principal of the firm stated tonight that .the factory would find direct employment for 500 to 600 men. Locations in various parts of the Dominion are to be examined.
