THE MONETARY SYSTEM
(To the Editor.) Sir, —Your correspondent “Wings,” in his reply to my letter, says he is a dairy farmer. I would be sorry to think that all dairy farmers would enunciate the views he expressed in your issue of yesterday, which were on a par with his previous effusion — meaningless and unworthy of consideration. To use plain English, most supporters of a change in our monetary system, having neglected opportunities to advance in life, are looking for some easier way at the expense of the other fellow and at no cost to themselves. “Easy Street” can only be entered by years of hard work and that is the sure road to suc-cess.-—I am, etc., CITIZEN.
