Mr A. H. Preece, who has been on a visit to England, arrived in New Zealand yesterday by the Rangitiki from London, and returned to Palmerston North this morning
Rev. C. B. Jordan, of Christchurch, has accepted an invitation to remain for a further year as superintendent minister of the Addington circuit of the Methodist Church. Mr N. Mclsaac, chief postmaster at Napier, who was formerly assistant postmaster at Palmerston North, has been transferred to Invercargill as chief postmaster. He will commence his new duties in the near future.
The members of the congregation of the Knox Presbyterian Church at Dannevirke, have decided to extend a call to Kev. J. H. Starnes, 8.A., of Morrinsville, to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Kev. J. T. Mackay some time ago.
