N.S.W. MOTOR REGISTRATIONS

BEST FOR MORE THAN FOUR YEARS. There were 231.973 motor vehicles registered in New South Wales on September 30, representing an increase of 10.61 per cent, during the last two years. Car and lorry registrations were greater by 8.67 per cent, and 24.87 per cent, respectively, as compared with two years ago. During September new vehicle registrations numbered 1557, and 3122 vehicles were registered after the lapse of previous registrations. The weekly average of new registrations of cars and lorries was 373, being the best since February, 1930.
