IN BANKRUPTCY.
A meeting of creditors in the bankrupt estate of James AYilliain Lind, farm labourer, of Colyton, to have been held yesterday, lapsed for want of a quorum.
Catering is a big business at Broadcasting House, London, the headquarters of the 8.8. C., where 500 lunches and 700 teas, apart from odd refreshments, are served every day. The word “Fire!” is never mentioned in a cinema in England, for fear of panic. There is a special secret password used, if fire ever does break out.
