HONOURED IN JAPAN. Received October 25, 9 a.m. TOKIO, Oct. 24. The Emperor and Empress gave an audience to Mrs Carlyle Smythe, an Australian Red Cross delegate. It is unprecedented for the Emperor to give an audience to a woman. The chief New Zealand delegates were also given an audience and reception.
