POULTRY PRODUCERS.

A committee meeting of the New Zealand Poultry Producers’ Federation, Palmerston North branch, was held last evening. There was a good attendance, and Mr W. T. Jones (AYhakarongo) presided. Interesting discussions relative to a continuous campaign for better organisation of the industry were a feature of the meeting and many new members were elected. It was decided that meetings open to all members be held monthly instead of quarterly as previously arranged. Efforts are to be directed to making the meetings instructional and also entertaining. The secretary was asked to make arrangements, if possible, for a visit from the Government poultry instructor for the next meeting. It was also decided that a list of registrations of poultry-keepers in this district he requested from the Poultry Board.
