SYDNEY, Sept. 20,
No steps are likely to he taken toward the reconstruction of the Commonwealth Ministry until tlie Prime Minister (Mr J. A. Lyons) has completed a fortnight’s holiday at his home at Devonport (Tasmania), The new Cabinet will be announced after that, and Parliament will probably reassemble on October 23, the day after the arrival of • the Duke of Gloucester at Canberra. There is a good deal of speculation as to whether Mr Lyons will seek the co-operation of the Country Party in the formation of the Ministry. It is stated that pressure is being brought to bear on him not to close the door entirely against that party.
