Whitcombe beat Pierpont, 3 and 2; Busson beat Cox, 3 and 2; Chevalier beat Davies, 4 and 3; R. Whitcombe beat Havers, 1 up. In the semi-finals, C. Whitcombe beat R. Whitcombe, at the 19th; Busson beat Chevalier, 6 and 4.
