At the wool sales there were 10,094 bales offered, including 2883 from New Zealand, and about 6580 were sold. There was sustained - home and Continental competition and rates were steady Withdrawals were only noticeable in connection with inferior sorts. New Zealand scoured, branded Algidus, brought 23d.
