PRISONER IN LEG IRONS. WALL DISINTEGRATED. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) Received September 20, 10.30 a.m. BRISBANE, Sept. 20. Although hampered by leg irons, John Sleeth, aged_ 24, made a daring escape from Warwick Gaol. As Sleeth had escaped from the gaol on _ three previous occasions he was leg-ironed when placed in his cell. It is believed the prisoner used the handle of a bucket to remove the mortar from the bricks and then P out about thirty bricks and made his way to an adjoining cell, which was unlocked. He then went into the yard and scaled a 12-foot wooden wall. A few days ago Sleeth eluded the police after several shots were fired in the main street.
