POLITICAL ACTIVITY.

RESUMPTION AT HOME.

(British Official Wireless.) Received September 21, 12.15 p.m. RUGBY, Sept. 20. Domestic political activity is being renewed after the autumn holidays. The Conservative Party conference well be opened at Bristol on October 4, the official agenda for which has now been issued. This is of special interest because the party is numerically the most powerful party in the existing system of co-operation betwen the political parties supporting the Government. First place is given to a resolution expressing unequivocal confidence in the National Government. A motion likely to arouse discussion invites the party to condemn certain propositions of the draft policy on Indian reform, upon which the report of the Joint Select Committee of Parliament is still pending. It is, however, recalled by the Times that the Conservative Party recently decisively refused to do this.
