TWENTY FEET FALL.

CAR PASSENGERS’ ESCAPE. SYDNEY, Aug. 14. A taxi-cab conveying five women to the Gosford country races to-day crashed through an embankment and fell 20 feet, landing upside down. The hood had to be cut away to release the occupants and driver. Only two of the women suffered minor injuries. One of the uninjured passengers had £IOO to invest on a horse which won before she was able to reach the course in another car which was hastily requisitioned.
