GREAT FALL OF ROCK. MONTREAL, Aug. 13. A message from Niagara Falls states that the contour of the world-famous Canadian Horseshoe Fall was changed in an instant to-day when a huge piece of rock estimated to weigh 15,000 tons fell from the brink of the fall to the Niagara Gorge. The spectacular cave-in was accompanied by a tremendous roar and developed a new horseshoe within the falls, apparently enhancing the beauty of the scenic wonder.
