TE ARAKURA, Aug. 11. The Te Arakura ping pong team played a competition match on Tuesday evening against Tiakitahuna A at Te Arakura. The match resulted in a win for Tiakitahuna by 30 games to 6. The scores were as follow, Tiakitahuna players being mentioned first: Amadio beat J. Gore 31 —12, K. Thomas 31—15, Sullivan 31—15, Miss Gore 31 —15, A. Lewis 31 —13, A. Thomas 31—13; It. Rowland lost to Goro 31—24, beat K. Thomas 31 —22, Sullivan 31 —19, Miss Goro 31—22, Lewis 31—13, A. Thomas 31 —14; S. Rowland lost to Goro 32 —30, K. Thomas 31—27, beat Sullivan 31—25, Miss Gore 31—28, Lewis 31—5, A. Thomas 31 —10; Johnson boat Goro 31 —23, K. Thomas 31—29, Sullivan 31—22, Miss Goro 31—22, Lewis 31—22, A. Thomas 31—24; I. Rowland beat Goro 31 —27, lost to K. Thomas 31—18, beat Sullivan 31 —24, Miss Goro 31—27, lost to Lewis 34—32, beat A. Thomas 31 —16; Motley beat Gore 32 30, Iv. Thomas 31 —24. lost to Sullivan 31 29, beat Miss Goro 31 —26, Lewis 31 25, A. Thomas 31 —20. Tho Te Arakura School basketball and football teams travelled to Milson and played games against the Milson teams. In tho basketball game Milson wore the winners by 9 goals to 7. The football was won by Te Arakura by 21 points to 3.
