OBITUARY.
MR W. PONSFORD. MELBOURNE, Aug. 4. The death lias occurred of Mr William Ponsford, father of the cricketer. The late Mr Ponsford was well known in New Zealand, having accompanied the Australian team, of which his son was a member, through the Dominion in the 1927-2 b season.
