(From Our Own Correspondent.) BULLS, Aug. 4. On Tuesday the L.G.U. medal rounds ami the second qualifying round for the golf championship will be played. Play must not begin before noon, and anyone unable to play is requested to ring Miss O. Leveft. The draw is as follows: —Silver and Bronze: Mrs Dean v. Miss Tricker, Miss Walker v. Miss MeKelvie, Mrs Drew v. Mrs Duncum, Mrs Mackay v. Mrs McDonell, Mrs de Burgh v. Mrs Hendry, Mrs Goodall v. Mrs Harris, Mrs Tricker v. Miss Perrett, Miss Bailey v. Miss P. Price, Mrs J. S. Tricker v. Mrs Anderson, Miss Palmer v. Miss Brookie, Mrs 11. Tricker v. Mrs Russell, Miss P. Levett v. Miss Stevens, Mrs H. Pearce v. Mrs Caldow, Miss O. Levett v. Miss Amon, Mrs MeKelvie v. Mrs Shaw, Miss N. Wilson v. Mrs Carter. Juniors: Miss Willis v. Mrs Rich, Mrs Collier v. Mrs W. Pearce, Miss Burns v. Mrs Smart, Miss Galbally v. Mrs Gibbons, Mrs D. Wilson v. Mrs Sadler, Miss Dwyer v. Miss Murphy. On Thursday afternoon a flag 500 afternoon was tendered to Mrs G. G. Goebel, who is leaving shortly to reside in Marton, by lady friends of Bulls and district. Mrs Goodall made a beautiful bouquet, which was presented to the guest of the afternoon with good wishes, Mrs Goebel suitably responding. Players at the winning table wore Mrs Halford (Marton), Mrs S. G. Goebel, Mrs J. B. Robins and Mrs D. I-loivard. Afternoon tea completed the function. Mr G. Langdon, who spent several months in Auckland in search of health, is home again, and his condition is slightly improved.
