STOCK REMEDIES BILL.
UPPER HOUSE AMENDMENT. The Speaker reported that the Stock Remedies Bill had bifcm revived from the Legislative Council with amendments. Hon. C. E. Macmillan explained that the amendments referred to the publication o fthe nature of the contents of the package on the label, making this unnecessary. Mr E. J. Howard said the amendments robebd the Bill of any use it might have had. The amendments were agreed to on the second reading.
