WANGANUI COLLEGE.

OLD GIRLS’ AIEETING. Old girls of Wanganui College spent another very successful reunion last Thursday afternoon at the tearooms of Alessrs Collinson and Cunninghame. Seating accommodation at one long table, which again was tastefully decorated in the school colours, was filled to capacity with members, some of whom came from Levin and Feilding. After tea had been partaken of, business matters were attended to.

As the promoter of the association, Airs Adcock was called upon to address the members and set before them the aims and objects of the reunions. As Mrs Andrews found it impossible to take the position as honorary secretary, nominations were called for and Airs Adcock was unanimously elected to the office. Hostesses for the next meeting were ballotted for and this resulted in Airs Wingate and Airs Ornberg being drawn. The hostesses for each day will be responsible for the introduction of all members and their entertainment. To foster the spirit of comradeship necessary to the success of these reunions, members changed places and chatted till and breaking-up of the meeting. All old girls resident in Palmerston North and surrounding districts were asked to do their utmost to attend future reunions to be held at the same place on the third Thursday of each month.
