INDIAN SUPERSTITION.

SLAUGHTER OF ANIAIALS. Received June 19. 12 noon. . CALCUTTA, June 18. Despite protests in the Press and from the public, another mass sacrifice of animals was carried out at Ellore. The streets reeked with blood and the whole town presented a ghastly appearance, carcases being everywhere.
