ABNORMAL WEALTH.
Received June 4, 1.20 p.m. LITTLE AMERICA, J-une 3. The unseasonal warmth continues. For twelve days now, with one single exception, the temperature has been above zero. On Saturday the thermometer touched 16 above zero. The senior meteorologist says vast streams of warm air are pouring through the upper atmosphere from the oceans to the northward and he commented that he did. not know whether to consider the warm spell abnormal or not, as this is only the third winter in which the weather conditions have been, studied^—once by Amundsen’s party then by Byrd’s first expedition.
